Dwarf Elephant

Here is the small elephant that lived a while ago. The remains of these pachyderms have been found on various islands in the Mediterranean and Indonesia. They were different species of these types of animals but adapted to island life by evolving to a smaller size. There were also dwarf mammoths that evolved on islands off the coast of California.
