Description

This whale was mistaken for a sea reptile which is why it's called Basilosaurus (meaning king lizard). It had a body of a huge eel and even swam like one. I hope I got the facts right this time...

Well I do know about this prehistoric predatory whale. Basilosaurus was Was a whale that could grow up to 80 feet long. In the 19th or 20th century the paleontologist thought they found a fossil of the sea serpent or some sort marine reptile but some point in the future it turns out that it is the first large predatory whale. And Basilosaurus is100% marine mammal of the tertiary period
